Provide comfy materials for your cat to sleep. You still should give your cat a chance to play with a toy though.

Handling

It is wrong to pick up your cat by it's neck. It will damage your cat's muscles. Hold your cat/kitten with one hand under the chest and the rest of his/her weight supported by your other hand. Kittens must be handled gently because their bones are fragile.

Grooming

Brushing and combing will remove loose hair, dirt, and fleas that may pick up. Though cats groom themselves, it does not get rid of everything. Long-haired cats need to be groomed especially.

Exploring

Cats love to play. They would love to climb trees in your yard, run high speed, and leap high distances. Watch your cat so he/she will stay out of trouble. Your cat shouldn't stay or be shut out at night. They need a soft, warm, and safe place to sleep. There are risks of car accidents, and wild animals and dogs.

Better, Inside or Out?

Your cat really lives longer inside. Your cat will live longer and stay out of trouble. Bugs, and sicknesses can affect your cat. In my opinion, I think it's okay to keep your cat outside for fresh air. Both indoor and out love their home because they bond with it.

Cats Diet

Cats are specialized to eat meat. Their teeth and digestive system are made to eat meat. They have 30 sharp teeth. The cats tongue has sharp spines, papillae, useful for retaining and ripping flesh. It's hook like tongue helps them groom their self. A n adult cats diet should contain 30 to 40% of protein on a dry basis. Jackie.
This is the story on how I got my cat.
One day my friend came over and
we were playing outside and we
heard some animal meowing in
the house next door that people
were building.Me and my friend
decided that it was a cat.But we
couldn't see the cat because it
was trapped in the attic. So we
went to my mom and she got
out our ladder. So my mom went
to the house were we heard the cat in
and my mom opened the attic door
and unfolded the ladder and then the cat jumped out.
We thought that the cat belonged to
somebody so we went around the neighborhood
and asked if it was their cat everybody
said it wasn't their cat so we decided
that we want to keep the cat but the
thing was my dad doesn't like cats!
Later on when my dad came home
he said he does not want the cat.
But then he sees how sweet she is
so he lets us keep her!And then we named her Jackie.

<a the cheetah mother sits on top of a termite mound. She is looking for a safe place to sleep. Her babies are hiding in the tall golden grass.Uh-oh!The cheetah mother sees a hyena.Hyenas, lions, and leopards can hurt cheetah cubs and it's mother.

Cheetah spots help it blend into the tall golden grass. The name cheetah comes from the Indian word "cita" (say:chee-tuh).It means "spotted one".All cheetahs have different patterns of spots. It's the same with our fingerprints that everyone's is different.

Cheetah cubs fur may look soft and cuddly, but really they are thick and scratchy. The fur around their necks are called a "mantle".Cheetahs can not roar like lions. So when they are in danger , they hiss and arch their back to frighten.Cheetahs love to play, but usually are shy. They will not attack humans unless you bother them.A long time ago, some rich people kept cheetahs as pets. They also would train them to hunt for them.

Today humans are dangerous to cheetahs. They kill them for their beautiful fur.Other big cats like lions hunt in packs but cheetahs work alone when it gets to hunting. When cubs are one-a-half years old they will leave their mother and start their own life.

Jackies Thanksgiving Babies

If you read my first couple articles on Jackie(my cat)and her babies then you would understand this more.If you read the article about her babies birthdays, well on Thanksgiving morning was her second litter of kittens birthday! But the main reason I'm writing this is to tell you how to make a mini kitty cake for your cats birthday. It's something special I made up for my cats.It is something simple.
