This picture is not of my cat but is what my cat does when theres a storm coming!
I was watching animal planet and they said something like cats can sense a storm and you can tell when your cat tucks all of it's paws underneath him/her! Isn't that cool? And their hair gets kind of static like. Animals have such amazing instincts!

Sleep

Cats have energy and spend about two thirds of their life asleep. Provide comfy materials for your cat to sleep. You still should give your cat a chance to play with a toy though.

Handling

It is wrong to pick up your cat by it's neck. It will damage your cat's muscles. Hold your cat/kitten with one hand under the chest and the rest of his/her weight supported by your other hand. Kittens must be handled gently because their bones are fragile.

Grooming

Brushing and combing will remove loose hair, dirt, and fleas that may pick up. Though cats groom themselves, it does not get rid of everything. Long-haired cats need to be groomed especially.

Exploring

Cats love to play. They would love to climb trees in your yard, run high speed, and leap high distances. Watch your cat so he/she will stay out of trouble. Your cat shouldn't stay or be shut out at night. They need a soft, warm, and safe place to sleep. There are risks of car accidents, and wild animals and dogs.


Better, Inside or Out?

Your cat really lives longer inside. Your cat will live longer and stay out of trouble. Bugs, and sicknesses can affect your cat. In my opinion, I think it's okay to keep your cat outside for fresh air. Both indoor and out love their home because they bond with it.

Cats Diet

Cats are specialized to eat meat. Their teeth and digestive system are made to eat meat. They have 30 sharp teeth. The cats tongue has sharp spines, papillae, useful for retaining and ripping flesh. It's hook like tongue helps them groom their self. A n adult cats diet should contain 30 to 40% of protein on a dry basis. Cats regular diet in the wild would be:

• mice and other rodents
• small mammals
• birds
• fish insects
  
• snakes and other reptiles
  

Cody has been staying with the vet for three weeks, but his broken leg is as good as new. It's in a little different angle, but it's fine. Cody already returned to his exploring. Him and Jackie are garage cats and outdoor. Cody's leg is broken from the neighbors dog attacking him. Thats how. Here are some pictures of him Above.
Cody is always anxious, and curious, also playful. He loves to play. The vets scent on Cody makes Jackie unfamiliar with Cody, so sometimes they hiss at eachother but slowly his scent will go away. I'm so happy that Cody's home.

Cody is staying at the vet this week. Hopefully they take it off!

Cody got attacked by my neighbors dog two weeks ago while I was at a soccer camp in cocoa beach (my cat)
He has to stay in a cast for seven more weeks. It is very hard for him to move and I know he is not comfortable in his splint. I feel so bad for him and hopes he gets better!

Jackie!
I kept one of her kittens from the first litter.And on the top theres a picture Of Pepper.
The first litter kittens were born on march 31, 2006



One of the kittens from the first litter is named Ruby.He use to eat the litter box when
he was a kitten.


Me and my friend saved Jackie trapped in a attic.And that's how we found her pregnant.

I don't have any pictures of Jackie's second litter.But she had four kittens in the second litter.
And in the first litter she had six kittens.

this picture above is Jackie's first litter.
Right now I still have my cats ,and Pepper is very fat.He just turned one years old.
the second litter were born on Thanksgiving morning.
The picture on the right is a picture of Jackie.

I'll list the kittens names from the first litter. Sammy,Ruby,Pepper,Bear,Crystal,Oreo.
The second litter is Princess,beauty,midnight,smokey.
